Morrison aimed celebration at Ertugral

Orlando Pirates forward Bernard Morrison admitted his goal celebration against Ajax Cape Town in the Nedbank Cup last-32 was directed at Muhsin Ertugral.

The Ghanaian bagged both goals in the 2-0 victory and celebrated his second by running to the sideline and then imitating a dog who was seemingly urinating in front of Ertugral.

The Turk was previously in charge of the Buccaneers for two months during the 2016/17 campaign, and Morrison said he performed the act to send a message about being unhappy with their relationship during that period.

"There were some problems going on between Muhsin and I so I think the celebration was for him," the 24-year-old said of the Urban Warriors coach.

Morrison made a stunning return to the starting line-up after spending most of the season on the bench under Milutin Sredojevic.

His Pirates team-mates appeared to copy the celebration in what might have been seen to be a public statement about what they thought of Ertugral's time in charge at Mayfair.

The win also meant Bucs had gained revenge for their 3-0 defeat to Ajax just 11 days earlier in Cape Town.
